Hey leleka97 — I was in your exact shoes last fall. My old roof was a mess and I’d been putting off replacing it for years. Decided to go with metal too (less maintenance, better in the long run) and found this company called MRoof.
They’re local to Ottawa and focus specifically on metal roofing. What really stood out was how easy they made the whole thing. They showed up, gave a straightforward estimate, explained the pros and cons of each material — no sales pressure at all. I had a bunch of questions (because I knew nothing about metal roofs), and they actually took the time to answer every one.
The install crew was great too — respectful, fast, cleaned up after themselves. I barely knew they were there. It took them only a few days and my house looked like it got a makeover.
It’s been about 6 months and I’ve already noticed it stays cooler inside during the summer. Plus it held up like a champ through this winter’s storms. No more worrying about missing shingles or leaks.
